2023 is awfully neat.
A year for new dreams and new feats.
A year for new celebrations and new eats.
And a year filled with lots of tasty treats.
What goals do you have?
Are they big or are the small?
Will you follow the satnav?
Or climb a new wall?
Read the Word.
Spend time in prayer.
Do what you have heard
and try something with flair.
Will you go on adventures?
Or sit in your comfy chair?
Will you wear dentures?
Or hunt for the Alaskan brown bear?
This year will be what you mold it to be.
A year of great joy or just a decoy.
This year is as vast as the sea,
So do not deploy but see what it can be!
Work on each dream one day at a time.
Put them in the light for all to see,
And build something magnificent by Christmastime.
I am excited to see what God does with thee!
